MP Police Band Constable Recruitment 2026 Notification Out

The Madhya Pradesh Police Department has released a recruitment notification for 679 posts of Band Constable. Interested and eligible male candidates can apply online for this opportunity. The application process has started and will continue until April 19, 2026.

Important Dates

Age Limit (as on 19-04-2026):

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 33 Years (UR / EWS)
• Maximum Age: 38 Years (Reserved / HG / Govt Employees)
• Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.

Educational Qualification:

• UR / OBC / EWS: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent
• ST: 8th Class or equivalent
• Candidates must have knowledge of any one instrument from List “A” (mandatory) and List “B” (desirable for bonus marks).

Application Fee:

• Unreserved (UR): Rs 500
• SC / ST / OBC / EWS (MP Domicile only): Rs 250/-
• MP Online Wallet Charges: Rs 150/- + 18% GST Extra

Pay Scale:

Rs 19,500 – ₹62,000 per month, with a stipend during the first three years of service.

Vacancy Details:

Physical Standards (Male Only):

• UR / OBC / EWS: Height - 168 cm, Chest - 81 cm (unexpanded) / 86 cm (expanded)
• SC / ST / Maratha: Height - 165 cm, Chest - 79 cm (unexpanded) / 84 cm (expanded)
• Gorkha / Nepali / Kumaon: Height - 158 cm, Chest - 76 cm (unexpanded) / 81 cm (expanded)
• Minimum 5 cm chest expansion is mandatory.

Selection Process:

1. Phase-I: Skill Test (Screening) - Qualifying test on List “A” instrument.
2. Phase-II: Band Vadana Test - 75 Marks (Trade Test: 60 Marks, Bonus Marks for List “B”: 15 Marks). Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/OBC/EWS, 40% for SC/ST.
3. Phase-III: Interview - 25 Marks.

Final merit list will be prepared based on Band Vadana Test (75 Marks) + Interview (25 Marks).
